My 2 Dogs

Hello Blog world. My photos today are of my 2 dogs. Parris is on the bottom and Disco is on the top. To me my dogs are the best, is there really anything better then coming home and having your dog greet you with the wagging tail and nice wet kiss? Cm on you know you all like that.

I know if I am having a bad day, whenever I come home my dogs usually put me in a good mood. (exceptions being Going through the garbage, or having a accident in the basement) They are just so happy to see me and I am the only thing they care about.

Both of our dogs are rescue dogs. Parris was with a family that kept her looked in the basement all the time and Disco came from the pound. They did not get along good at first but now they are buds. Watching them chase each other around the back yard is one of the funniest things I have ever seen.

Let me know about your pets.. drop me a comment

Sweet Martha's Cookies

This photo is from the Minnesota this past year. These cookies are so good. If you have never been to the Minnesota State Fair you need to plan a trip. Sweet Martha's cookies are worth the trip all by themselves. Grab a big bucket and then head on over to $1 Milk Stand (All the milk you can drink for a buck, White or Chocolate). Does it get any better then that. I think not. I think I may have to cut this short I need to go find some cookies for Breakfast now.

A Jamaican Sunset

This is a picture that I took on my trip to Jamaica in November of 2007. It was a great trip and very relaxing. Hopefully there is another trip there sometime in the near future! In the winter months I have this as my screen saver on the computer. It really does help to make it seem warmer outside. With the temperature looking like it is going to go below zero again tonight. I thought this would be a great picture to use for today.

Photo of the Day 35w bridge collapse remembered

I am going to start using a photo of the for my blog. I may take the photo, find it on line our get from someone who follows my blog. If you want to submit a photo for me to use on my blog send a message about the photo as well.. That way I can ad to the picture:

As  I was driving around yesterday I went past the park on West River Road in Minneapolis. This was the area where they were storing a lot of the materials and equipment to rebuild the 35W Bridge. They also had all the bent and tangled Girders from the old bridge. That is what the picture is from. I made stop for a minute and think about the bridge and the events of that day. I know in my mind the people that died will not ever be forgotten

Just some random thoughts

I know women always cry over TV shows, Do men cry but hide it? My wife was watching a Little People Big World. She was crying pretty good at the end of it.. Next on the DVR The Biggest Loser will be on . I am sure she will be crying by the end of that. Time to buy some more Kleenex.

So I was driving today and I could not get around a Semi, He was taking up 2 lanes on curve in a construction zone. I did not pass him because I did not feel safe going around him at the time. I had some idiot behind me(Red Grand AM), driving like a freak. Once I got around the truck the Moran came flying by me honking the horn and flipping me off. What Gives? I saw you, I just did not feel like dying this close to Friday. See me on a Monday and maybe we can strike up a deal.

Tune in tomorrow for my Alcohol vs Marijuana debate

Sunday's Stumblings

While I am back with another post. Blogging is harder then it looks!!! It is hard to come up with topics everyday. But I try sometimes they are good and sometimes they are not. So here goes for today.

Hey Billy Smith  get off your rump and sign Joe Crede all ready.. Look at some of the stiffs this team has signed over the last few years and got nothing out of. If Crede gets hurt halfway through the season he will still be better then all the bums you signed last year. If I have to hear your lame ass excuses again this year I may puke.
I spend money on your product, I go to at least 5 homes games a year and the wife and I have made the trip to KC for the last 3 years. Last year in KC was cold but we stayed all 9 innings  for both the Friday and Saturday night games. This year we are planning on heading to Chicago to see the Twins and Cubs play. I think we may do the KC trip again to. We are trying to decide if we want to buy season tickets for when the new stadium opens. Give me a reason!!!!
How about instead of trying to compete for the division you do something that will help us win the World Series. Cmon Bill Smith you know you want to do just do it..

Okay off of the sports topic now.
You really never know what you have until it is gone. I have been married for almost 3 years now. We have been not been apart much in that time. But now her Dad has been having some health problems and she has been having to go to Sioux Falls and help take care of him.
I am finding I really miss her when she is gone. I know that is a good thing, I really wish she was here.

Politicians are just a bunch of Crooks

Well they are in my opinion. If anyone one of us had done what Tom Daschle ,Nancy Killefer,Timothy Geithner had done we would all be in Jail. There are people in prison for not paying taxes just like these guys have not done. Yet their's just gets swept under the rug. They say it was a honest mistake, and they are sorry it happened. They are only sorry that they got caught. We elect this idiots to run the country for us and they are all just cheating crooks.
Want more examples? Take New Mexico Governor Bill Richardson he is being investigated for giving state contracts to campaign donors.
More you say, Rod Blagojevich trying to sell President Obama's vacant senate seat.
John McCain was busy taking campaign donations from the law firm of convicted felon Charles Keating, one of the masterminds of the Savings and Loan Scandal of the 1980’s that cost taxpayers $500 billion
Just think of all the people all the people in Congress and other posts who are doing the same type of things and just not getting caught. When in the playing field going to level out for the rest of us. It has been a very bad year for a lot of people what if people just did not pay their taxes this year? Could we if the IRS came knocking on the door just say Opps!!! Sorry I must have overlooked that!! No way we get away with that.
What is really bad is that all of them can right a check right away for it. Tom Daschle wrote a check for $130,000 like it was just a drop in the hat. Most of us a having trouble paying day to day bills and this guy is dropping 130 grand to pay for taxes he did not pay in the first place.
I say lock all these bums up. They are out of control, they think they are better then anyone else. Lets treat these bums like everyone else. No special rules. Lets level the playing field

Kids gone wild

Does it scare anyone else that the people who bankrupted the Country have kids. And these kids are spoiled rotten brats and are going to be worse then the parents.  Our society is so screwed up who knows what the future holds. Kids today get away with what ever they want and never have to pay for their actions....

Back in the when I was in school if I got in trouble I was afraid to go the Principe's office. You never knew what was going to happen there.  I would get detention or have to do  some kind of stuff to pay for what I had did.
Now if a kid gets in trouble at school nothing happens most of the time.. Teachers have no power anymore. Parents think that their kids are perfect little angels and that they could never do anything wrong.. A parents first response now is I will sue you if you do anything to my kid..

Which now brings me to parents: When I was growing up and got in trouble I knew I was getting the belt.. It made me think before I would do anything stupid(I still did stupid stuff but I paid for it). Now a parent cannot even look at a child with out someone standing up for the child and crying child abuse. I am sick of all the people who think they have the right to tell people how to raise their kids. I am not for beating kids just a little leather attitude adjustment would do the trick i am sure.
Sorry if this is a little jumbled but I am not a writer just a blogger :)
